| Little Pine
Creek Missouri Fox Trotters specialize in training the
companion trail horse. The riding experience should be as pleasurable
as possible for the rider and the mount. |

The horse is started using gentle, trust building,
resistance free techniques to build confidence out on the trail.
With access to over 1,000 acres of our rugged Ozark hills, we give
the horse an opportunity to learn to maneuver steep rocky terrain,
cross creeks, open fields, and condition them physically for the
demands of a variety of trail experiences. |
| Nutrition, hoof care, tack that is appropriate
for each horse, and lots of tender loving care are all a part of
our training program. When possible we encourage the owner
to participate by joining us on trail during the last week of training. |

We accept only 6 - 8 horses at a time so that
each horse receives 2 or more hours per day on the trail.
(That is why you will usually find us responding to phone calls
and emails after dark.) |
Our charge is $450.00 per month for feed and training. Vaccinations
need to be up to date and a negative coggins is required for your horse
as we have negative coggins on ALL our stock.
